Focus to detail 

Sebastian Vanzen was from the very beginning of his involvement with oil paint fascinated by the structures it forms. He did not look at paintings from a distance but he observed the very details even with a loupe. 

He managed to develop techniques that create both beautiful compositions of colors but also enable the formation of structures never seen before in oil on canvas artworks.
